AUREUS limited edition Coin Filler
Dedicated to the Roman Empire's unified monetry reform founded
by Emporer Augustus in 23 B.C, saw the first coins introduced
in gold, silver and bronze; Aureo, Denari & Sesterzi. An Aurean
advise means a "PRECIOUS" one. Aureo means "GOLD"
This innovative multi-colored stripped celluloid fountain pen
which portrays a harmonious blend of colors from purlple to golden
bronze and from aubergine to cobalt blue, adorned in bronze and
other precious metals, bestow its warm look and unique design.
The fountain pen has a large 18kt gold EF, F, M, B nib. It is
a lateral coin filler; the original decorative design around the
coin filler's overlay on the barrel represents a stylized Marlen
column. The clip is fixed with two nail-pegs which was characteristic
of that epic Roman period. The top of the cap is finished with
an Aurean coin, which portrays the head of "PERTINAX",
( Publio Elvio Pertinace ) Roman Emporer : born in Alba Pompeia
in 126 and died in Rome in 193 a.C, sculptured into the coin is
the latin wording used on the coin " IMP CAES P HELV PERTIN
AVG ".
