The sterling silver Duro is modeled on the original Duro shape
from the 1920’s. Each piece is hand-made from a solid
rod of sterling silver, meeting the finest standard for sterling
quality and hallmarked by the British Assay office who tests
each pen for its quality of silver before allowing it the official
UK Assay Mark.
The pen also features the identical clip of the original Duro,
which is hand-made in Birmingham, the same way it always has,
using a screw press to stamp out each section of the clip. Each
clip is stamped seven times to obtain the final finish. A resin
overlay is applied over the solid silver cap and barrel to give
a unique iridescent finish to the pen.
The pen is completed with a rhodium plated 18kt gold nib, available
in M, F, XF, B and Italic F, M and B. Cartridge/convertor fill.
Only 300 pieces of each finish worldwide.
